President's Message |

"I was elected to what?" For those of you who missed the November meeting, you guessed it - I was elected to be your President for 2003. Quite a feat since I walked into the meeting ready to vote for the only candidate thus nominated for the office of President, which wasn't me. But as life would have it, I was nominated and won by an overwhelming majority (it might have been unanimous, but I had my eyes closed). Running un-opposed had something to do with it. Our club needs a President and I assure you that I will serve to the best interest of the club and I'm certain that each of you will tell me if I do otherwise. See what happens when you miss meetings? Darrell and Maurice are a tough act to follow. The club owes them a round of applause for their contributions to the club and the hobby. Certainly not last nor least are John Hayes and Kip Bean. These gentlemen have formed the backbone of the club's officers for many years and the club owes its continuity to them and to the loyal membership. This year at the December meeting we are going to hold our annual Yankee Swap. Remember to bring a wrapped gift valued up to $10. The item has to be new and never used. Some past items have been, shall we say, "interesting" to say the least. As always, it's the thought that counts. The Annual SNHRCC Auction is planned for January 14th so bring out your good, bad, and ugly modeling related items. Darrell will be our auctioneer again this year. Who else would put up with the abuse? As the end of the year draws near I'd like to wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season. With the events of the last year to reflect upon, I'm certain we have come a long way. I'm looking forward to the clear skies and good flights ahead. -- John Marien |

November Meeting Minutes! |

| SNHRCC MEETING November 11th, 2002 Litchfield Middle School, Hudson, NH Officers in attendance: Darrell Wagner, Maurice Terriault, Kip Bean and John Hayes. Secretary and Treasurer's reports were read and accepted. Old Business: Chuck Keller announced that Rich McGuinness couldn't accept the nomination for President. Maurice asked how many had seen the Bullsheet on the web, the majority responded in the affirmative. Fifteen flyers are expected to attend the upcoming combat event. Darrell asked for a nomination for the president's position. Maurice nominated John Marien, and John accepted. A motion to close nominations was made, seconded, and passed. The following officers were voted in for the 2003-year.
Maurice proceeded to explain the Yankee gift swap for the next meeting, noting that the gifts should be in the $9 - $10 range Ralph Dionne asked about volunteers to help Rich McGuinness for the upcoming combat event. The porta-potty will be in place until Nov 30th Motion to adjourn, seconded. -- John Hayes |
