Where We FlyThe SNHRCC flying field (aka "Wagner Field") is located just off West Road on Old Landfill Road in Hudson, NH. Here's where the flying action is. Map Members are free to come fly their gas-powered models at any time after 10 am. Electrics and gliders can be flown anytime. For the beginner, instruction is available on Wednesday evenings and by appointment with any of our qualified instructors. Several times during the summer, "fun-flies" are held. These informal contests are set up so that beginners as well as experts can participate and win. All in all, the flying field is the center of club activities. A shelter is provided for those seeking relief from the hot summer sun or the occasional rain shower. Work tables are available for models requiring adjustment or minor repair. A system for controlling radio frequencies is in place to insure interference free flying. Field safety rules are posted to which all members are required to adhere. Guest fliers are allowed on a limited basis. |
